This is the last part of our kitchen renovation. You can read part one here and part two here.
A small lay-flat storyboard of the materials, colors and patterns I use in the kitchen. The case color is at the top right. Today I wanted to share pictures of the kitchen as it looks now. It’s not done yet, you’ll find that we still have to tackle the ceiling and remove and patch up some lighting.
Plus, there’s still the fact that the cabinets need to be painted. As a temporary fix, we went ahead and painted the island a color to match the rest of the cabinets, but in the near future I’ll have to recoat everything. I’m using this time to live with the current color and now that the counters are in I can get an idea of what color I want. It will probably stay the same, but with less yellow undertones. But I reserve the right to change my mind.
Colander (keep soap and plants in the sink) so far I keep it there to store things
Counters: Carrara marble and charcoal soapstone both honed
Beverage fridge – we added this to replace the second dishwasher
Green Glasses from World Market Home, Atropology and Amazon
Checkered Tea Towels: McGee and Co
Inside the plant is a plant water stake . I used a wine bottle with it.
